Rob Florence, principal of Florence Audit & Assurance, is a highly qualified, experienced and respected auditor; an independent sole practitioner who specialises in all aspects of Audit & Assurance. He is an F.C.P.A., Registered Company Auditor; Registered Tax Agent; Quality Assurance Reviewer for CPA Australia and Professional Trainer and Presenter. Rob has over 35 years of professional experience in Accounting and Audit work, including private practice and corporate accounting. He enjoys a close working relationship with CPA Australia and over many years has held office on numerous committees and been instrumental in developing key accounting policies and procedures. Rob is a Quality Assurance Reviewer and conducts reviews of accounting practices on behalf of CPA Australia. Rob, an experienced educator also presents, chairs and facilitates at Public Practice Residential and Professional Development Programs and other Conferences throughout Australia and overseas.

Starting his career over 35 years ago with Coopers and Lybrand Audit Division, Rob has a breadth of professional experience including private practice and corporate accounting. He has developed an enviable professional accounting network over the years and is able to draw on this network for specialist advice and referral when required.

Rob is based in Ballarat, practising independently with a small team and large professional network. Originally a sporting Shepparton boy he now calls Ballarat home. Rob's client base is predominately in Victoria and South Australia, however, it also extends broadly throughout Australia and overseas.

Rob’s private life focusses on his family, and community especially his involvement in local sporting associations. He currently holds the position of President of the Ballarat Cricket Association.
